North River Tides
Tides are a major factor on the North and South Rivers. Please take into account the tides before planning your excursion on the rivers.
These offsets in the table below give tidal time differences relative to Boston tide data. To get the time of high or low tide at a station (such as Damons Point on the North River), simply add or subtract the time given below from the Boston tide data.
Substation Estimates from Boston (high tide):
| Damon's Point | add 20 minutes |
| Union Street | add 1 to 1.5 hours |
| Route 3 Bridge | add 2 hours |
| Hanover Canoe Launch | add 3 to 3.5 hours |
| Julian Street | add 45 minutes |
| Willow Street | add 1 to 2 hours |
