Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 6:45 pm–8:45 pm
Roht Marine

Join professional landscape and wildlife photographer Paul Nguyen on our pontoon boat to learn the art of landscape and wildlife photography on the state’s only Scenic Protected River! During this 2-hour boat excursion up to some of the most preserved parts of the North River you will be provided information on using the right lenses, techniques, and settings to get the best shots of nature. Added bonus it will be high tide and sunset. You must bring your own equipment. Space is limited. The cost is $70 for NSRWA members, $95 for non-members and includes boat trip.

Professional Photographer Paul Nguyen is a native of Massachusetts with over 25 years of experience in film and digital photography. He currently specializes in digital photography of natural landscapes and wildlife from New England and around the world. His travels have taken him as far as New Zealand, Asia, Iceland, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and coast to coast within North America, and he turns his captured images into fine art pieces that will beautify any living or work space. He also does local contract work for organizations such as the Boston Museum of Science, and the Worcester Property Owners Association. He employs many advanced techniques to create his art, including extreme long exposures, low-light and night photography, and “light painting”. Paul lives and works out of Hanson, MA, and can be seen promoting and selling his work at art shows and fairs in New England throughout the year, and is also a lecturer and judge for local camera clubs.

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Roht Marine has donated their docking service to NSRWA free of charge, therefore we don’t want to take up parking spaces for their other paying customers. Parking at Roht Marine is very limited, so we encourage carpooling or drop-offs. If you must park, please do so at the scenic turn off on Rt. 3-A and walk over the bridge. Please arrive at the dock at least 15 minutes prior to departure time. See Google map for parking location.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
