Twilight Solstice Exploration: A walk through Norris Reservation exploring nocturnal wildlife, their adaptations, and our own senses!
Kids and families! Looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays? Want to take a walk in a local park on the shortest day of the year during a full moon?
Join the NSRWA as we explore the Norris Reservation in Norwell… during twilight!!! Make discoveries about nature, as well as yourselves. Through interesting facts and fun activities, we will learn about the amazing animals around that are most active at night. We will also discover our own “nocturnal” abilities that we may not know we have. The tour will be guided by Brian Taylor, NSRWA’s Environmental Educator. Brian has lead countless expeditions in the backcountry throughout America and is a certified Wilderness First Responder. Come join us at a special place, at a special time and discover what it means to be nocturnal!
Free to all! Families welcome. Participants encouraged to dress warm with appropriate footwear. No dogs please. Parking is limited, so carpool if possible.
The program is free, however, registration is required. Click here to register.
