Roger Crawford, NSRWA Board Member and president of Crawford Boatbuilding, beautifully handcrafts Melonseed Skiffs at his shop on the South River. The Melonseed is an extraordinarily beautiful reproduction of a nineteenth century American workboat, that is now one of the premier boats in the daysailor category. Every fall the NSRWA hosts a Melonseed Regatta on the North River.
