Substation Estimates from Boston (high tide):

Damon's Pointadd 20 minutes
Union Streetadd 1 to 1.5 hours
Route 3 Bridgeadd 2 hours
Hanover Canoe Launchadd 3 to 3.5 hours

Wampanoag Canoe Passage

The first segment of this historical canoe passage is in our watershed, on the North River and Herring Brook. This site is courtesy of the Taunton River Wild and Scenic River Study.

Purchasing Kayak Equipment

a helpful guide compiled by Roger Crawford, NSRWA Board Member (PDF). If you are looking to buy a kayak, please consider visiting our friends at Billington Sea Kayak in Plymouth. Every year, these great people generously donate a new kayak that we auction off to raise money for the organization. They have a fantastic selection of new and used kayaks and are extremely knowledgeable about the sport.
