November 29 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Want to skip the craziness of Black Friday? Join the NSRWA on a guided walk of Forge Pond Park. We will walk the trails nestled in the woods around Forge Pond Park in Hanover. Forge Pond is formed by the confluence of Frenches Stream, and the Drinkwater River. After the pond it becomes the Indian Head River, a major tribuary of the North River. Learn local flora and fauna, discuss the areas history, and just have fun exploring in nature. So come join us on a fun fall walk in the watershed!

Families welcome, no dogs please. Meet at parking lot A, the first lot as soon as you enter the park. This event is free to the public, however, registration is required.
