June 23 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Explore the hidden natural gem of the upper reaches of the South River via Marshfield’s new canoe/kayak/SUP access point in downtown Marshfield. You won’t believe how beautiful and tranquil this part of the river is! This is a bring your own equipment (kayak, canoe or SUP) event but if you need equipment let us know as we do have some canoes available. Drop your boat off at the back of the CVS parking lot near the South River Kayak Access kiosk sign then park at across the street at the public parking next to Levitate and Uncle Bud’s Skate Park. We will then portage the 0.1 mile down to the put in. We do have 2 sets of wheels for loan at Levitate store but if you have wheels to transport your canoe or kayak please bring them. We will be going against an incoming tide on the way out but with it on the way back.
