June 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Celebrate the longest day of the year and join the NSRWA on a guided paddle as we explore the beautiful South River. We will embark on this out-and-back journey starting at the Francis Keville Footbridge. This paddle will include meandering along vast expanse of saltmarsh, listening to the crepuscular animals as they become active at dusk, and experiencing the river to its fullest… at twilight.

We will park and meet behind the CVS on Ocean St. in Marshfield. This is a BYOV “Bring your own Vessel” event. All participants must bring and wear a well-fitting personal floatation device, as well as a headlamp or flashlight. There is about a 0.1 mile walk from the parking area to the put-in. Dollies or wheels are recommended. An NSRWA staff member will provide assistance as needed.

This event is free, however all participants must bring $5/person to cover the American Canoe Association paddlers insurance. Please register online to reserve your spot and to receive update regarding this event.
