Private club with recreational facilities available for rental (for events), and to members. Covered pavilion in wooded setting with horseshoe pits, lawn, kitchen, and grill area, plus function hall, softball field and bowling alley.

This land is within the region of the Massachusett (or Massachuseuk) Native American tribe. Prior to European contact, the Mattakeeset band of the Massachusett lived for thousands of years in the North River watershed. Their village included most of today’s Pembroke and Hanson. The word “Mattakeeset” means “place of many fish.”

No trails, but there is a large open wooded area, as well as large lawn.

This private recreational area is set within a pine forest. It lies within the watershed of the Satucket River, which is part of the Taunton River watershed.
