A deep-water marina at the head of Hingham’s Inner Harbor with dockage for seasonal and transient recreational boaters. 44 slips with water and electrical hook-ups, and other amenities. Swimming is prohibited here, but is permitted around the corner, at Bathing Beach.
Features
Located on the old Kimball’s Wharf, which was a lumberyard in earlier times. Large two- and three-masted schooners would transport poplar, maple and fir from the Canadian Maritimes to Hingham for use in home building. The wharf became a boatyard in the 1930s and a marina in later years.
