Join us this fall to learn all about the South River! Know Your Local Waters, our collaboration with the Marshfield Senior Center, continues on select Tuesdays at 1:00pm.

On November 18, Kezia Bacon brings a new slideshow presentation, “A History of the South River,” to the Marshfield Senior Center. Topics include: Native American settlements, herring runs and dams, the development of Rexhame and Humarock, water quality challenges and solutions, and the Portland Gale – the storm that changed the river’s mouth.
