September 21 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Join us for a leisurely 2-hour pontoon boat cruise up the North River. Enjoy the scenic views while learning a little bit about the history and natural history of the river. The North River was once home to great shipyards that built vessels like the famous Columbia – the first American ship to sail around the world. Hundreds of years earlier, the Wampanoags settled here to be near the abundant herring runs and shellfish beds.
Cost is $50 for members, $75 for non-members (includes membership). Space is limited to 6.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Roht Marine has donated their docking service to NSRWA free of charge, therefore we don’t want to take up parking spaces for their other paying customers. Parking at Roht Marine is very limited, so we encourage carpooling or drop-offs. If you must park, please do so at the scenic turn off on Rt. 3-A and walk over the bridge. Please arrive at the dock at least 15 minutes prior to departure time. See Google map for parking location.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Contact NSRWA at 781-659-8168 or email email@example.com.
