June 13 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
NSRWA Walking Club – Chapman’s Landing and Iron Mine Brook Trails in Hanover
Saturday June 13
10:00-11:30am
Join Walking Club Coordinator Steve French on a special “Indian Head River Day” edition of our monthly Walking Club, as we explore the Chapman’s Landing and Iron Mine Brook Trails in Hanover on Saturday, June 13 from 10:00-11:30.
The Chapman’s Landing and Iron Mine Brook trails extend for 2 miles through woodlands and wetlands with views of both the Indian Head and North Rivers. Along the way, a short spur trail leads to a tall observation platform with spectacular views of the upper North River. The trail system winds its way along the two rivers before turning back inland to meet Iron Mine Brook on its return to the parking lot.
While we love dogs. NSRWA’s walks are dog-free in consideration for all participants. Please leave your furry loved ones at home.
Directions: Parking is available at the end of Indian Head Drive in Hanover. Look for the NSRWA Event sign.
The Walking Club is looking for guest hosts. If you would like to lead a walk on a local trail that you love, please contact Kezia Bacon at kezia@nsrwa.org, or visit our website.
