Hanover’s public playground is the centerpiece of this property, which also includes a baseball field, a street hockey rink, two basketball courts, and picnic area. Immediately adjacent: the Hanover Veterans Memorial and Bandstand.

The property drains into an unnamed stream which flows south through Hanover, passing beneath Broadway before flowing into the Indian Head River near the Hanover/Hanson town line.
