Plymouth’s Sirrico Memorial Playground is a grassy park with a playground, picnic tables, a basketball court and a flagpole. The playground area is partially fenced, with sand underfoot. It is located opposite 71 South Street.

Features

This park was named in honor of Arthur Sirocco, who was the superintendent of the Plymouth Park Department from 1956-1977. There is also a memorial stone honoring three men from Plymouth who gave their lives during World War II.

This land is within the region of the Wampanoag. To learn more about local Native American tribes, we encourage you to interact with their members. The Herring Pond Wampanoag and the Mashpee Wampanoag share information on their websites.

Habitats and Wildlife

The grassy park has a few maple and elm trees. The waters here flow to Plymouth Harbor and Cape Cod Bay.
