Ever wish you could be that person casting a fly fishing rod on the scenic banks of a river – sounds zen right? This class is designed to introduce people to the sport of fly fishing. Join our Trout Unlimited friends, Warren Winders and Joe Danubio, to learn the basics about fly fishing and casting. You’ll learn how to put together the fly fishing tackle needed for the type of fishing that you may be interested in. We’ll cover what sizes and types of fly rods, fly lines, leaders, and fly reels – and flies you will need to fish successfully for a range of species; everything from sunfish to striped bass and bluefish. And these are all fish species that can be found in the North and South Rivers watershed. We’ll meet at Luddam’s Ford Park on the Pembroke side of the Indian Head River.

Cost: $10, class is limited to 10  people.
