Join the North and South Rivers Watershed Association for an engaging slideshow presentation featuring over 400 years of South River history. Topics include: Native American settlements, herring runs & dams, the development of Rexhame and Humarock, water quality challenges & solutions, and the Portland Gale – the storm that changed the river’s mouth. It’s happening Monday, June 29th at 1:00pm at the Marshfield Senior Center, 230 Webster Street, Marshfield. Free admission. No registration required.
