WaterSmart Business is here to help your company stand out as a leader in your community… and potentially cut your costs. We help South Shore businesses–big and small–learn how to reduce water consumption, stormwater pollution, and water costs… making a real difference in our local environment.

Enrollment is free!

WaterSmart Business is funded in part by South Shore towns and the McKim Family Foundation. When your business enrolls, you will get a complimentary water-use assessment and a detailed water-use report specialized for your company that will outline your consumption patterns over time.

Businesses who enroll in the WaterSmart Business are not only taking steps to protect the environment, but also to ensure customer loyalty and support–and in turn, higher profits. According to a study in Forbes magazine, 66% of consumers said they were willing to spend more on a product if it came from a sustainable brand; 73% of millennials surveyed agreed.

To enroll in WaterSmart Business, contact Program Manager Lori Wolfe, at lori@nsrwa.org or (781) 659-8168.

WaterSmart is a nonprofit partnership between the NSRWA and 12 towns on the South Shore: Cohasset, Duxbury, Hanover, Hingham, Hull, Kingston, Marshfield, Norwell, Pembroke, Rockland, Scituate and Weymouth. Our programs are based on the belief that education is key. Since its creation, WaterSmart has educated thousands of local school-age children, adults, and businesses on water conservation, stormwater pollution, where their water comes from, and how to care for it.
