The Jericho Road State Boat Ramp is a public boat launch ramp on Scituate Harbor, with a large parking area and no fee. Very busy on summer weekends, it offers courtesy docking with a 15-minute tie-up limit. Also known as the Tom Chessia Boat Ramp. Located near 50 Jericho Road, it was most recently renovated in 2025.

We recommend you consult this valuable resource when planning a fishing excursion.
Features
This no-fee, 24-hour, double wide ramp is open to the public and offers on-site parking spots for 43 trailers and 30 additional vehicles. The ramp averages 6ft at low tide. A good access point for Stellwagen Bank, Provincetown, the Minot area ledges, and Boston Harbor. Swimming is not permitted. There is also a wooden pier on site.
This ramp was most recently renovated in Spring 2025. The Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game’s Office of Fishing and Boating Access (OFBA) made improvements to the parking lot, adjacent seawall and rip rap armor stones, and lighting, and also did miscellaneous gangway work to improve public access to Scituate Harbor.
