Timing the Tides Level 2 Paddle

Have you been to one of our Timing the Tides workshops or have you downloaded our Timing the Tides guide? Are you looking to put your skills to the test? Join the NSRWA on a guided Timing the Tides Level 2 paddle of the North River. We will paddle roughly 8.5 miles, starting at the Marshfield Launch at the Union Street Bridge and ending at Hanover Public Launch on Indian Head Lane. This paddle will cover much of the rivers most beautiful scenery. A real “must do” for people eager to get out on the river this summer! Moderate paddling experience recommended. Participants should bring water, PFD’s, and sun protection. This event is a “one way” paddle, so participants are encouraged to help carpool to ensure transportation is available at the take-out. Meet at the canoe launch off Bridge Street on the Marshfield side of the river before noon.

We have canoes available, or bring your own, just let us know. Canoes or Kayaks welcome. All participants must bring and wear a well fitting PFD. American Canoe Association 1-day event Insurance required ($5 included in cost).

Cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers, which includes fee for ACA insurance waiver.

CANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel with a refund 48 hours before the event, however, membership and credit card fees are non-refundable. If you cancel within 48 hours, we reserve the right to refund 50% of your payment.

WEATHER CANCELLATION: If we need to cancel the event due to weather, we will either give you a refund, or we will reschedule the event. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you will receive a refund of the event fee, less the membership and credit card fees.
