This multi-purpose park on Hingham Harbor features a beach for swimming, lawns, shade trees, a 0.25-mile brick walkway trail, seasonal restrooms and concessions, and a bandstand, plus interpretive signage about the area’s history. Home of the Hingham Farmers’ Market. Enjoy the spectacular views of Hingham Harbor and World’s End.

Be sure to check out the informational kiosks along the brick walkway, featuring “Hingham’s Evolving Waterfront,” and the local mackerel fishing industry. Known as the Harbor Boardwalk, this walkway was expanded in 2019 to its current terminus at the boat ramp parking area.

A brick walkway extends along the shoreline for 0.25 miles — from the parking area to the northern edge of the property.

While the beach may be the primary focus of this park, there are also large grassy areas with mature shade trees (oak, hemlock), and also some sumac and cedar. Please do not feed the waterfowl.
