To learn more about our local tribes, we encourage you to interact with their members. The Mashpee Wampanoag tribe and the Herring Pond Wampanoag both share information on their websites.

Habitats and Wildlife

This park is located directly on Cape Cod Bay, and looks out across the water to Plymouth Long Beach. There is a small section of sandy beach, as well as a salt marsh. It is very common to see shore birds here throughout the year. Look for the osprey nest in the salt marsh. The park is most open and grassy, but there are also some shade trees.
