Learn to Row Program for Four Adults – Offered by Cohasset Maritime Institute
No experience needed – just a sense of adventure! Discover the thrill of rowing with three friends in a four-session Learn to Row course hosted by Cohasset Maritime Institute. Guided by experienced coaches, you’ll learn the fundamentals of rowing on beautiful Cohasset Harbor, from stroke technique and teamwork to balance and timing. Once you’ve completed the Learn to Row program, you’ll be invited to join CMI’s vibrant adult rowing community, where participants form weekly crews, enjoy destination rows, attend social gatherings, and even take part in friendly coastal rowing competitions across New England.

Oyster Farm Tour for 4 People – Hosted by Island Creek Oysters
Your tour starts where the oysters do: in Island Creek Oysters‘ own hatchery! See how they recreate the ideal conditions for oysters to reproduce, and learn the stages of growing algae (oyster food). Next, you’ll head outside to the nursery (their land-based upweller system) where the team monitors tiny oysters through a period of exponential growth before they are big enough to be planted out in the Bay…your next stop! The Captain will guide you out on the water aboard the Nathaniel Winsor, a 27-foot Carolina Skiff, for an up-close look at the heart of what Island Creek.
