On Monday, September 26 the NSRWA will host their 9th annual Harvest Moon Feast at the Mill Wharf. Overlooking the water on Scituate Harbor, the Harvest Moon Feast is a South Shore tradition. Proceeds from this event directly support environmental education programs which provide children and adults unique opportunities to engage in hands-on environmental science and to learn about protecting our rivers. This year guests will be treated to the relaxing jazz sound of the Lance Van Lenten Quartet. Members of the group have performed or recorded with renowned artists such as Chaka Khan, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Tito Puente, John Williams, Aretha Franklin, Jane Lynch and Frankie Valli.

Attendees will enjoy tastings from the South Shore’s finest restaurants. The Silent Chef, a family-owned caterer in Scituate, has established an impressive reputation for pleasing palates for groups large and small.
