Funds from the match support the NSRWA $600,000 Campaign for Growth. These funds are helping us grow our organization to advance key efforts that address the unprecedented challenges our communities face to ensure we have healthier rivers and clean, plentiful water supplies. To protect our waters more effectively, NSRWA’s work focuses on three areas:
Educate + Engage = Healthy Rivers
Education, to provide information on water to local communities and give each resident at least one first-hand watershed experience;
Engagement, to propel our river-based recreation and volunteer service programs to bring more people closer to our rivers; and
Healthy Rivers, to inspire a community of stewards dedicated to a healthy and vibrant watershed through on-the-ground restoration projects. Our Campaign for Growth supports this vision by providing the financial strength to expand our capacity in technology, staffing, marketing and communications.
